Clay bar is a specially engineered detailing product designed to remove embedded contaminants such as water spots, brake dust, metal particles, industrial fallout, and road grime from your vehicle’s clear coat. When used in combination with a clay lubricant, the clay safely lifts and traps these impurities, preventing them from causing damage to the paint surface and restoring a smooth, clean finish.
Wash and Dry
Thoroughly wash your car with a pH-balanced shampoo to remove dirt and grime.
Rinse completely and dry with a clean microfiber towel.
Work in a shaded area to prevent the lubricant from drying too quickly.
Prepare the Clay Bar
Tear off a small piece and shape it into a flat, palm-sized disc.
Warm it in your hands if it feels stiff.
Clay the Surface
Spray clay lubricant generously on a small section.
Glide the clay bar gently over the surface using straight motions.
Add more lubricant if the clay feels sticky or rough.
Fold the clay to reveal a clean side as it becomes dirty, or replace it when heavily soiled.
